Job Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for those you care for. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules

- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up

- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings

- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior

- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided

- Take and record vital signs daily

Experience:

- Previous experience in social work or caregiving is preferred but not required (on job training provided)

- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable

- Knowledge of nursing home procedures and protocols is beneficial

- Ability to administer medication accurately and safely (training provided)

Skills:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Empathy and compassion for others

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Patience and understanding when working with individuals with diverse needs

- Puncutal on-time and able to communcate schdules and changes in advance

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 15 per week

Schedule:

  • Evening shift
  • Morning shift
